2016 Trek Shift 3

Trek's elegant Shift 3 is sure to draw compliments as you spin down the street. Its laid back aluminum frame and adjustable stem put you in a natural, upright riding position that's tailored just to you. The ride is smooth, stable and confidence inspiring, perfect for riders just back into the game. And, its suspension fork, shock-absorbing seatpost and comfortable saddle smooth the bumps for the most comfort you can have off the couch. Plus, this great bike sports a 24-speed drivetrain that tops hills with ease and powerful linear-pull brakes for the ride back down. With heavy-duty wheels and reliable components, the Shift 3 is ready to roll day in and day out!

First new bike in over 10 years. Bought a comfort bike since I am 5' 10" and 250 pounds. Awesome bike! Super comfortable and nice, upright riding position. No neck or back discomfort whatsoever. Suspension and seat post shocks smooth out the bumps along with the 26 inch tires. No complaints at all. Very happy with purchase. Easy and enjoyable to ride. Can't go wrong with this one.

I bought a His and Hers for my wife and I. I'm now 60 and wife is 53. We've owned several Treks and have always been impressed with the quality. The Shift lineup is a great all around bike for those of us that are not into marathon rides. We can ride a few miles, enjoy ourselves, and get the exercise we need. These bikes are very stable and very easy to ride. We look forward to many years of use and enjoyment from these. Great job Trek.

          Comments:

I love this bike. I am trying to lose some weight and get myself back into shape. The price on this bike was the most I have ever spent on a Bike but I feel that it is worth the price I paid. I use it on our local bike trail and it preformes well on the dirt and street alike. It rides well and handles well. The finger/thumb shifters are a joy to use. I love it.

I'M A BIG GUY WHO NEEDED SOMETHING WELL BUILT TO CONTINUE MY WEIGHT LOSS AND COULDN'T HAVE FOUND A BETTER AVENUE FOR THAT IN MY TREK SHIFT 3. IT RIDES EXCELLENT, HANDLES GREATS AND HAVE HAD MANY COMPLIMENTS ON IT'S LOOKS AND BUILD. WEST MICH. BIKE HAS BEEN EXCELLENT ON SERVICE, TOO. I REALLY ENJOY RIDING IT AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD STREETS AND WHEN WE ARE CAMPING. SURFACED, GRAVEL, OR DIRT ROADS ARE NO PROBLEM. HAVEN'T TRIED IT AS A TRAIL OR MOUNTAIN BIKE AS THAT'S NOT MY INTEREST. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYBODY.
