Daydreaming about your next adventure? A bike like the Vaya Deore is just the thing to get you planning your trek into the unknown. Salsa's tried-and-true steel makes for an all-day crusader of a frame, with a relaxed geometry and a butter-smooth ride that will make you wish you could keep pedaling all day long. Tough rims from WTB aren't scared of the beaten path, and wide Surly Knard tires can grip the less-than-serviceable surfaces with ease. A 9-speed Deore drivetrain is just what the climbing-doctor ordered for easy cresting of daunting peaks, and a sweet set of components from Salsa and WTB will have you questing into unknown lands and searching for the next undiscovered town.

I couldn't find a single review for this bike and so I have decided to put one out there. I just bought this bike after having not been on a bike since I was really young. Kind of a "do it right the first time" kind of purchaser so I chose the Salsa brand after recommendations from a couple of friends and I'm glad I did. This thing is sweet! Very lightweight, nice color, and just generally fun to ride around. Been using it mostly in the city but it's supposed to be good for light trail riding too. I don't have years of experience to compare this against or anything but I do know I love riding it and getting out and about. I guess one thing I can say is the wheels come off pretty easily for transport in a car. Typically I like to read up on and review things before I buy them but just kind of took a chance on this bike and I'm glad I did. Hopefully this quasi-review helps someone else make the plunge.
