    Comments:

Awkward installation, but once finished, it is a solid accessory. It creates a lot areas underneath the rack that are hard to clean with a rag, but my fenders don't let it get too dirty. I also have a Bontrager trunk bag that mounts/dismounts with the Interlock option on this rack, which works perfectly.

      Comments:

This rack is for my 2014 Trek 7.2 FX disc. There is a disc version of this rack but I didn't need it because there were no special fitment issues with my bike. It only took 15 minutes to install and is very sturdy. I'm using an interchange bag. I bought a Bontrager system because it was specifically designed for my bike (as opposed to other brands would be a more generic fit). Pretty much a slam dunk.

      Comments:

I purchased this rack to hold panniers. It's all it will be used for. It's feather light, pretty rigid for aluminum, and has a tab to hang a blinky. I have a weird frame made by SE Bikes. The bike is a Hopworks Pub Runner. It's a single speed that I ride fixed, nothing special. I had to fabricate a support to fit around my brakes and get longer lower mounting screws because I run fenders during the rainy season. For the models of bikes that require no modifications, install should be very easy and you will have a rigid rack. For the weird frames like mine, you will be better off buying a rack that has the flat steel upper mounting brackets for ease of installation. I have access to a full blown machine shop, so fabricating a custom upper mounting bracket was just a matter of an hour's work and some paint. Just be wary that the install may not be straight forward. Better yet, for $15 or $20, have the dudes in the shop throw it on for you. They've done hundreds.

      Comments:

Looked all over for a rack that fit my Trek hybrid AND my ancient Cannondale trunk bag. The wide middle "sort of" acts as a fender.. it doesn't completely block "back spackle" but it reduces it. It's nice and rugged looking in its matte black finish. It would fit on a road bike.. but I think it'd look a little out of place and I'd recommend it for a hybrid or MTN bike.
